The kids Valentine to their dad
Adam
I had such a great Valentines Day. Eric ended up having the day off because of the awful weather, so meetings were canceled. I spent the morning at Tommy's kindergarten class playing Cupid, Cupid, Love (duck, duck, goose). A few of the kids thought it would be funny if they picked me everytime. After an hour of this I was sweating and exhausted.
Last night, Eric & I went to the movie & dinner. I wore the jacket Adam has on above,as it is one of the only red casual items I own. The first time I wore this jacket Adam started yelling, "Bot, Bot!" I had no idea what he was saying but he wanted it and started yanking it off of me. Finally it hit me. I asked him, "Are you saying boat? Do you think this is a life jacket?" "Yes! Life jacket! Life jacket! Mine!!!" So much for thinking this was actually cute!
Back to the movie. We went and saw, "Definetly, Maybe".... I cannot recommend this to anyone. It was a very funny, cute story but oh, so naughty. Eric told me after he was just waiting for me to say we needed to walk out. But only the first part was naughty. I came home and told my babysitter never to go on a date to this movie. It would completely embarrass any teen on a date. Without giving a complete review of this movie, I can't explain it very well. The women were dressed very modest (no cleavage), no bedroom scenes but lets just say it started by the Dad picking up his 9 year old girl who had just had an unexpected sex education class and she had lots of questions. If anyone has seen this, let me know. It was PG-13 but when it comes to love stories, PG-13 can be pretty risque!
Valentines isn't too much different from other days in our house because Eric showers me with love continually throughout the year. I couldn't ask for a better hubby to share forever with.
(side note, if anyone can teach me to put the pictures in any spot besides the top, let me know.. Maybe I should put the pictures on first and then the text?? I can't figure out how to cut and paste on this thing)

The story about the vest made me laugh out loud. It's darling, but the whole "life jacket" thing is hilarious! I'm glad your game went over well...sounds fun to me!
What a great day!
I love the vest story too! So funny! It looks like you had a wonderful day. You're such a great mom!
I think it's better to write all the text first and then load the pictures. When the pictures comes up the page, drag it to where you want it and then load another picture, drag it to where you want it... etc.
Just email me when you want new songs on your playlist and I will add them for you. It takes about 2 seconds. When I am there next month, I will show you how to do it.
Chell, you just explained all that to me too...thanks!
And Nan, I still love all the fun stuff you did! The shower is hilarious!
I love the decorated shower! What a fun surprise. And I bet it was so nice to have Eric home!
It's always nice to hear someone's (other than movie critics) opinion of a movie that you weren't sure about. I think we'll skip that one.
I think the red vest is smokin'! I'd make that little twiny give it back. Sounds fun. So did you and the kids decorate the shower the night before? Way cute. And I don't know if you read my comment on Chauns blog but my boys couldn't believe you were playing cupid, cupid, love. Glad it worked out for you, is Tommy in kindergarten? Because my 2nd and 5th graders would have been the color of that vest if they were forced to play.
The kids decorated. Alicia put everyones names on the hearts on the shower. And yes, cupid, cupid love only worked for kindergarteners. Even some of the kids would just say heart, heart, cupid... they were so cute!
Chel, I still can't drag on the pictures. When I click on a pic it just lets me change the size. So maybe I'm just beyond help.
I cut and paste to move my pictures.
Nan, I've never figured out how to put pictures in a different place or make them different sizes. I'll try the cut and paste.
Also, I read you comment on Michelle's blog, and you totally need to post about your Phantom story....I think it's funnier than my naked in the window story!
I agree... you should post your most embarrassing moment! it's a good one!
