Ouch!

Benny & Adam on top of another snow hill I shoveled

Yes, my arm is twisted behind my back right now. Chellie is pretty amazing to be able to twist an arm so tight while holding darling little Scarlet. But I have now entered the blogging world. I am going to be making this a private blog but that will come at a later date.

There are no promises of frequent entries. Not that I live a boring, dull life but my memory is very short. I believe this comes from insomnia. Which also causes many other very ugly side effects that I'm sure will come up at a later time in this blogging history. Last night I slept for a total of 30-45 minutes. I know this because the last time I tried to count from 100 backwards it was 3 a.m. The next thing I knew I was dreaming and all of the sudden I dreamt I was late for work. I jumped up, it was 4 a.m. I had to get up at 4:20 anyway to leave for my very infrequent job at Curves. So I laid there for 20 minutes. It had snowed all night. I had the privilege of shoveling the huge sidewalk at Curves. The bitter cold wind woke me right up while I shoveled powdery snow with a cracked shovel for 45 minutes. But I loved it. I loved being outside at 5 a.m., just me and all the snow plow drivers. It was a very peaceful morning to an ugly terrible night.

You are awesome! Didn't know about the job. How fun for you. I would love to stand outside in the snow in silence at 5 am. Seriously! I know you know I am serious only one with many children understand the desire for peace and quiet. Try Nyquil - I live on this stuff - cold or not. Love ya. can't wait to check your blog every day.

OH Nan. I'm sorry about the lack of sleep. But don't you love those moments when you have something all to yourself? Even if it is just the snowy sidewalk in the early morning hours.
I'm so glad you finally decided to blog. I look forward to reading more fun stories!

You forgot to mention how I had you bound to the chair and threatened to bury you in the snow.

So glad you have a blog. I'm hoping for many posts, but will take whatever you enlighten us with!

You sure looked cute for no sleep... I'm usually a wreck. Thanks again for today! The twins are adorable!

Oh, and I love the reference to Bon Jovi...that is awesome. He is coming to Atlanta May 1, but tickets are so expensive!

I didn't know you were such a huge Bon Jovi fan. I remember you trying to convince me that it wouldn't be a good idea to marry Jon Bon Jovi if he popped into the RCIS and proposed. Remeber that? About the lack of sleeping thing, you do know that they now have pills for that right? Let see how does it go...You can read it in the papers in some places it comes in 32 flavors but you wouldn't tell no one your favorite if you could... ok so it has nothing to do with pills but BON JOVI ROCKS!!!

Hey Nan,

I was so excited to get your letter today and go on your blog. You look fantastic and the kids are adorable. Most days I can't imagine having any more than 4 kids, how do you do it? I'm excited to see you in May.
Take care, Angie
