The Twins Are Potty Trained! Hip Hip Horray! I never thought this day would come. It is so embarrassing to say but this is the main reason I didn't want more kids after #4. But now that it is done, I am thrilled & I know I would have been so lost without these two little balls of life.
My terms of when it is official is;
#1- They have less than two accidents a day (combined)
#2- They can sleep through the night in their little undies w/o an accident for 3 nights in a row
#3- You can take them out & about without switching back to a diaper or pull-up
#4- When they do have an accident (#1) they deal with it themselves
I took this potty-training very slowing and didn't stress about it. I encouraged them and just kept reminding them. I thought I was confusing them by putting them in a diaper whenever I didn't want to deal with it but it didn't. More times than not they went potty in the toilet even when they had on a diaper. Lets just say, they were ready.

Another reason to celebrate... SOCCER IS OVER!
When you have 2 in soccer and 3 in baseball and they overlap for weeks it is very easy to go crazy. But we did it and we finally have our Saturdays back (other than Eric is working most of them for the next few months until soccer starts up again).

Tommy has control of the ball. He finally started to love soccer and decided he could actually play the last couple of games of the season. (he is the top right head)

Yeah!!!! Tell those twinys way to go! Seriously I have to give you a big horray because that's early for twins. isn't it? Can't believe you let your kids play two sports at a time. We are celerating because football is over but Caden's little league team made it to TOC. Yeah! It was a nail biter but we now have baseball until June.
yeeaaahhh! Tell the twins way to go!! I think you were very wise to take it slow and not stress about it. I'm sure it's still STRESSFUL but if the boys weren't ready for it why push it. No more in diapers... I can't even imagine that day!! These two little boys really are sweet. They really do complete your family don't they!
Wahoo, and good for you for not pushing the potty training...now, they are really ready and you won't have to deal with accidents. I can't imagine potty training TWIN BOYS!!!!
How in the world do you keep your kids so active with SIX of them???? You are for sure mother of the year!!!!
Yay for all those darling Stucki boys! But more importantly, yay for you, Nan. Done changing diapers forever!
Way to go! I think "training" is the hardest thing! Fortunately for me, Jak was all the sudden just ready. And although he had just turned 3 when he was ready and I thought it was getting late... I just went with it because "training" is for a dog, not a kid! lol
Way to go with all of the sports! Your kids are AWESOME! Tommy looks so cute!
Hurray for super mom! Aedan was running around without a diaper tonight - he takes them off himself- and started holding his pee so I ran him to the toliet and just sat him on it. Oh my heck - you would like I threw him in and flushed. He screamed bloody murder and started hitting me. He is now scared for life!
